Disiz La Peste at Live 8

Born Serigne Me Baye Gueye, on March 22, 1978, this half-Senegalese boy grew up in the southern suburbs of Paris. Member of the rap group Rimeurs to Pledges, Serigne Me Baye Gueye aka: Disiz the Peste, (or "The Plague", in English), started his solo career in 1999 with a single entitled that people want to hear.

He is quick to get known and in 2000, releases the album BO of Taxi 2. A rising star in French rap. Disiz La Peste put out a number of other albums including Le Poisson Rouge (Red Poison), Parlor Games, Route Of a Bronzed Child and "F" Dat FM.
